Accurate analysis of the USB2.0 Battery Life reduction bug

Anandtech has published an excellent in-depth analysis and explanation of the bug that causes USB2.0 devices to lower batterylife of mobile platforms by 25% or so. They show that the bug is not Core Duo specific, and that Microsoft’s upcoming fix appears to work in almost all cases.
